Hi, I'm Alisa!
Full-time designer/very frequent illustrator/occasional filmmaker/one-time hand model. Always creating.
Just a few things that have shaped me: the Calvin and Hobbes strip, my family's Chinese calligraphy obsession, the Do Ho Suh: Almost Home exhibit, 2010s YouTube, Taylor Swift's Speak Now album, The Lion King 1.5 (yes, this exists)

With my journalism and fine arts background, I bring a unique creative lens and love for storytelling to create visually captivating brand and editorial experiences for audiences. I've worked with print, digital, and social platforms, and am always eager to tackle creative problems through any medium.

I'm currently a Designer at Variety, with prior experience at National Geographic. I'm a graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. (View my resume)
